sunday again!

1) Watched Chak De , Lakshya, Jannat in bits and parts.

2)project was supposed to start from 25th , but due some circumstances, got postpond to 30th.

3) so, me and parnisha called up Amrita and headed for South City mall. Shopped in Pantaloons, Shopper’s stop and they bought cards in Archies

4) I think Panchvi Pass ends today with Laloo as the chief guest.

5) had some Tandoori meal stuff at the food court, it was not soo good as people used to say

6) was supposed to shop with Arpita yesterday at Pantaloons, but she did nt turn up, citing some date with bf…and i don’t care , and also I was supposed to meet Ma in Gariahat…did that…she changed her newly bought sari…I bought a colg bag and an umbrella…it rained ….we ran …..

Dark Knight

Went to watch it with Sudeshna. She was initially coaxing to go for Kismat Konnection, but since reviews were awful and I was in no mood to waste my money on some mushy stuff, I had to convince her for Dark Knight and thank God, she relented easily

FAME was housefull. That too for a morning show , people are jobless , for sure

Then we had lunch. Well, you can’t exactly call it a lunch. Just an Idly.

college reopens Friday, asked Mom to stay back at home and ‘bunk’ office !

The ice creams have finished

Nothing substantial happened

Ohh yes! after many many years mom made homemade ice creams , and for some reason I love them So, I HAD THEM , while the cream was still hot and later in the night when they were actually ice creams !!

Then in the evening, me and bro made Idlis in the microwave oven. We had bought this idli mix from Big Bazaar last week. they tasted ok-ok, not like the dhokla debacle !!

Why do these channels air comedy movies every now and then?? Now, I hate these comedy flicks, and they had these No entry, Partner …yuck…so no question of watching TV mostly

AND  on news channels all you are having nowadays is coaxing and wooing of MPs …sick sick

S called me to  watch Kismat Konnection, thats the film I can watch with her  basically, she’s born to watch all those romantic flicks

But I need company to watch Dark Knight, hope A hasn’t watched it yet, or else I’ll go with bro to Fame

Lets see what things turn out to be….have to go to college tomorrow, to deposit fees for the project…

Point wise

1> went to CHandni Chowk with Arpita on Tuesday. Had similar confusions in the Metro station as I ALWAYS HAVE. [ This is CAL and not Del] She got an ipod for her bf. Had to wait for 2 long hours to get it delivered from the godown to the store.

Metro service was unavailable for 1 hr , So we walked our way to College street. Got hold of R.S Agarwal and Barron’s and NCERT books for bro. It was raining hard. Had lunch in Coffee House. So, finally I got a seat at the C.H . Last , time the waiter told us to come 3 hours later

2>Wat? Wat? Ohh yes, our group met at Sumila’s Dida’s house. We talked and talked. left the place at around 9 p.m

3>Yesterday it was time for coo ordinated lunch at Sumila’s Dida’s place. The house is abandoned since her Dida lives with her. So , we gave order at GRUB cLUB, bought paper plates, etc

food finally arrived at 2:30 pm , Gravy chowmein, Chicken tampoora(it tasted sweet) and schewzan chicken.

others had Hakka, but since Roshni decided to have gravy and needed someone to share , I readily agreed.

Then it was time for day long movies–Cry wolf, American Pie 1, 2, Band Camp, American Wedding…too much of PIE in a single day. Rushed home to catch AAmir. It was a nice movie.

4> Every day my job is to inform Dad about the PNR status of our New DElhi-Kolkata return ticket. Hope it gets confirmed.

5>Priyanka came over to my place on Thursday, had lunch, then went for Jane Tu again , as she needed company.

6>College is reopening Friday, this one was an eventful semester break

P.S : I had no idea people read this blog. I mean, how can one get to this, when its not linked anywhere etc?

Anyway, I don’t have any problem , as long as people who know me, don’t read this, cause they are going to eat my head after that. and its always nice to have readers.

Actually, I created this blog to write nonsense   and to get a feel of how wordpress works etc , I’ve another one in blogger where I write more sensible stuff and people feel I’m full of creativity [tee heeee]

so many to battle through

lovelife, career, peer pressure, parental pressure, sibling pressure, stares from relatives, formality–a young girl’s life has to battle so much

who cares? who praises? who feels?

my lovelife is at a scratch. no bf, no problem, kind of. (duh) when people are making and then breaking more than dozen of affairs, i am still deciding whether i have a crush on someone or not

and life without a bf? people around me find it hard to believe why boys and girls? live and let live

so, for the next 5 years i don’t see myself moving hand in hand with some guy or the other. end

CAREER …the big question

i just pray that i get into any damn company that comes to campussing in college..be it TCS or INFY (INFY has to come na? because of some contracts?) and about MBA? i really don’t know when I shud do it…I really don’t have any wish to do job now, student life is much happier but as they say, work ex is preferable…lets see

peer pressure…well, i don’t feel as such(which is bad i suppose) NOOO,  i feel , i feel

parental pressure-well, this is a tough question, i think my parents have lost hopes on me hahaha! the other day we were discussing CAT  n XAT and Baba was quite encouraging…I have to be deterministic…just like the way I was before third sem maths exam

sibling pressure…okay, I get inspired from you, dear Cheeku…so no complaints in this department

relatives….I have very selective love for them…so it doesnt really matter

So, as I understand, career should be of utmost importance to me right now, and dear world , if you have a boyfriend, live at peace…

Frustration?

we’ve been chat friends for damn 3 years, since our days in school and we haven’t met? or he has nt seen my pic? how sick is that, na?

and yesterday , S and pammi were talking about Roshni and Naresh….i felt patyhetic and thought of laughing at myself.

They believe , getting committed is the next best thing after getting into a good college. Okay, thats pretty correct. Atleast , you don’t feel left out, or frustrated.

But , i should think about it, should I?

Afterall, Shaadi.com is there na?

Yes, finally i’m getting mad……girl, girl, girl there are so many better things in life…think about that.

Tthink about, mba, think about campussing, think about internships ….singlehood is a choice, not a curse…just keep this in mind…[:)]

Roshni’s House

yesterday, it was day out at Roshni’s house. we 6 were there.

we had a blast as usual.

we watched A movie Hostel…Wat a violent movie it was. later i searched wikipedia to get the details.

we had a blast with the food too. i had 5 glasses of cold drinks and a full plate biriyani and 2 chicken pieces and an egg with curry.

s o there was a lot of adult talks, which obviously I did nt understand…yes! i’m that damn fool.

recollecting memories  of school days. blah blah blah

then returned with sumila, did some shopping at Spencer’s. Ohh,, we watched Alo too.

Jaane Tu…ya Jaane Na

so, we went to watch the movie at FAME, soth city.

met Kajoree at the gate. Later saw Mitankar, Debanuj.

HALL was FULL. DROPPED HALF POPKORN, WASTED ANOTHER HALF.

movie was awesomeeeeeeeee. loved imran and genelia.

then had lunch at the food court. a full pizza , man!!! i never ate so much, that too pizza!! then a chocolate brownie.

Memories of Maths

My honeymoon with Maths began in the 3rd  sem of 2nd year in college. i loved the subject. got good marks. okay, may be thats why , i loved it

initially in school, i used to get 99 or 100 . i got in the 80s till class 7 .

but from class 8, the downfall began. i got 25 out of 50 in the first terminal test in class 8 and cried like anything

then mostly the numbers were in the 70s, but i was kind of happy. in the board exams too i got around 75.

then  came college. how i hated maths in first sem, the teachers were dumbos and bimbos.

we had loads of integrations, double , triple …ohh gawwwd ! now, i hate integrations to some extent. so, as expected maths exam was a disaster. i was prepared to face the fact that i would be getting my first supple in maths.

thank God, i did not. i got a C…how ? how? miracle? or do I underestimate myself? (watever !!)

okay, then i started loving maths again !

course in 2nd sem was pretty nice, loved every bit f it, from Laplace transforms to 3D. exam was ok-ok. got a decent A.

and then there was the 3rd sem. i made a resolution to myself that since this is the last sem we are having maths, i have to do well.

and i did. exam was super good. i attempted full. was expecting O, but got E . its okay, maybe the sent internels 25 and I lost 5 in the theory .

so, thus ended my official tryst with maths. Though we have some sections of maths in every paper and obviously maths is required everywhere,  be it electronics or instrumentation.

but you can’t leave out maths from life…..right?
